(<strong>\u27e8<\/strong>e|Cs|Mo<strong>\u27e9<\/strong><sup>Lab<\/sup>)\u00a0foi fundado em 1994, sob a lideran\u00e7a do Prof. Wagner B. De Almeida, no Departamento de Qu\u00edmica do Instituto de Ci\u00eancias Exatas da Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG). O\u00a0<strong>\u27e8<\/strong>e|Cs|Mo<strong>\u27e9<\/strong><sup>Lab<\/sup>\u00a0se estabeleceu como uma refer\u00eancia na \u00e1rea de Qu\u00edmica Computacional e Modelagem Molecular no estado de Minas Gerais, e um dos mais tradicionais grupos de pesquisa nesta \u00e1rea no Brasil. Em 2014 o grupo completou 20 anos de tradi\u00e7\u00e3o em pesquisa, tendo formado, at\u00e9 aquele ano, 17 Doutores, 18 Mestres, 32 alunos de Inicia\u00e7\u00e3o Cient\u00edfica, al\u00e9m de 08 bolsistas que conclu\u00edram seus est\u00e1gios de P\u00f3s-Doutorado. Em 2014 o Prof. Wagner B. De Almeida se aposentou da UFMG e assumiu uma nova posi\u00e7\u00e3o no Instituto de Qu\u00edmica da Universidade Federal Fluminense. Com sua aposentadoria o Prof. Willian R. Rocha assumiu a lideran\u00e7a do grupo a partir de 2015, ficando o Prof. Wagner B. Trata-se, portanto, de um mecanismo do tipo I em Terapia Fotodin\u00e2mica (TFD). No entanto, o mecanismo fotof\u00edsico e as propriedades deste complexo no estado excitado s\u00e3o lacunas na literatura.
